What is the cost of using my NowCard?
We have tried to keep the costs of owning a NowCard to an absolute minimum. All transactions to merchants accounts are FREE. Cash withdrawals are charged at $2.50 plus an additional 2% of the amount withdrawn.
How do I use my NowCard to shop?
You simply give the cashier your NowCard. The cashier will give you a receipt to sign. Sign it and give it back to the cashier. Take your copy of the receipt, and the transaction is complete. No hassles, no long approval process and no counting money!
How do I access my NowCard account?
You can access your money 24 hours a day from any ATM. Insert your NowCard and enter your personal security code. Push the withdrawal button and enter the amount you would like to withdraw. Press enter and wait for your cash. It's as simple as that.
What if my NowCard is lost or stolen?
You are responsible for keeping your card safe just as you would with cash. If your card is lost or stolen, you will be liable for all amounts taken from your card's account up to the time you notify. Your account will be immediately shut down and you will be given a notification number for your records. A new card will be issued upon receipt of a $25 surcharge.
How do I keep my NowCard account anonymous?
Your card is anonymous, at the time of issue only two parties know of its existence, you and Now Inc (and we aren't going to tell anyone). If confidentiality is your prime concern then the best way to use such an anonymous card is to withdraw cash from an ATM and then use the cash to purchase goods and services. You could also buy electronic information products over the Internet but never use an anonymous card to buy anything that could be linked to your real-world identity (like hard goods that have to be shipped to your home address). So to maintain total confidentiality for the rest of your life only use the card for cash withdrawals and anonymous online purchases only.
